I mentioned how much I loved this foundation in my Make Up Favourites: May post but I really felt like it deserved a post of its own. I love it so much I recently bought a darker shade to wear when I have fake tan on.
First of all, my skin is usually pretty dry and if you’re a dry skin girl like me you’ll know we usually need to steer clear of anything that says “matte”. Despite being a matte foundation this doesn’t cling to dry patches (when used with a primer, I haven’t tried it without.) and also doesn’t do that thing where it stays out everywhere else but starts going patchy on the top of your nose. Which is great because that’s really annoying.
The shade range is also really good, there are 19 in total ranging from very light to dark which is great for a high street foundation. It’s also really affordable, it’s currently £6.99 at Superdrug and Boots.
It’s quite a runny foundation, but not at all watery, if anything I find it just makes it easier to blend tbh. I would say you can achieve a medium to full coverage as it is buildable. It covers any redness on my cheeks without a problem but for major blemishes you might find you need concealer too.
If you’re looking for a new foundation to try that’s more on the full coverage side of things but have been apprehensive due to having dry skin etc then I really would suggest trying this foundation out. I was unsure before I bought it because no matte foundations have worked for me in the past, but this really is a game changer.
